This may include space to talk through the decision, preparation for what to expect physically and emotionally, and support during recovery. Care is offered without judgment or assumptions, and with respect for each person’s needs and values.
The role of an abortion doula is not to direct or influence decisions, but to accompany people through the process with throughtfulness and respect.
